.css.scss or .scss ?

Hi, I just started the yelp tutorial and I noticed that at some point we are creating a custom css sheet in the assets folder, and it is said to name it custom.css.scss however, none of the files that were previously there are named like that, it is either .css or .scss, so I was wondering what was the difference, and is it because I am using a newer version of rails maybe ? Why putting .css.scss ? Cheers

Great question! '.css.scss' used to be the default extension that was used by Rails, but it was essentially the same as '.scss'. Since then, '.scss' has become the new default. In case you're curious, here's the commit where the old extension was deprecated:
https://github.com/rails/sass-rails/commit/d355de9b5aa8b79576c9afcadb58ebe164155861

Hope that helps clear things up!
