Is there any way to visualize/manage data on our herokuapp server as we do on localhost with the DB Browser for SQLite?

Yes, this is possible, though I haven't found any truly great solutions yet. So far, the most reliable one I've used is called Valentina Studio: http://www.valentina-db.com/valentina-studio-overview. They have a free version, and while the user interface isn't great, it does its job. The Induction App (for Mac only) used to be great, but it began freezing and stopped working for me. They're also still in Alpha I believe, so I guess there are still a bunch of issues that need to be worked out.

After you've downloaded it, you should 'Connect to...' or 'Add Bookmark...' for your Heroku server. You can find your Heroku database info with 'heroku pg:credentials DATABASE_URL' (just type that exactly), which you'll need to enter into Valentina Studio.

The annoying part is that once you've logged in, you need to scroll through a massive list of databases to find the one that dbname that shows up in your 'heroku pg:credentials DATABASE_URL' output. But once you find and open it, then it works just like SQLite Database Browser.

Cool, thanks for the reply. I'll give it a try and report back my feedback

I was researching this more today, and I found a better one! Try PG Commander: https://eggerapps.at/pgcommander/. Much nicer interface, much more user-friendly, and works with Heroku. I think this will become my new go-to Postgres database browser.
